Julien Leyre

Dr. Julien Leyre is a French-Australian writer, editor, and facilitator. He helps people find personal and professional clarity as they engage with the complex challenges of the 21st century. He likes to listen and look for common ground.

Julien co-founded the Future of Governance Agency (FOGA), a civic tech agency looking to build long-overdue upgrades to local and global institutions. He is also the president of Shapeshifters Group, a non-profit organisation giving voice and opportunity to those who do the work-in-between, in organisations and ecosystems. He previously worked on global catastrophic risk prevention, global governance innovation, transcultural community building, and digital global public goods, with a particular focus on China. He is an alumnus of Ecole Normale Superieure in Paris and holds a PhD from Monash University in Melbourne.
